This simple pasta dish brings the taste of Italy home, with fresh greens, sweet peas and spicy salami

Danish mild salami thinly sliced

  • 150 gm Primo thinly sliced danish mild salami
  • 250 gm orecchiette pasta
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 1 bunch broccolini trimmed
  • 1 lemon zested and juiced
  • 1/2 cup baby rocket
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • Bring a large pot of water to the boil
  • Add salt and then pasta, stir the pasta continually for the first 4 minutes to stop it sticking
  • Cook pasta until just cooked, then drain and set aside in a large bowl
  • In a frypan cook the salami until it starts to get crispy
  • Add to the frypan - broccolini and peas and cook until hot all the way through
  • Add salami, broccolini and peas to the bowl of pasta
  • Add all other ingredients, mix well and season to taste
  • Serve whilst still hot
